Speaker:Long Pei

Abstract:

We will talk about the decay rate and symmetry property of solitary waves to the steady Degasperis-Procesi equation. In particular, an improvement of the classical Bona-Li argument for decay estimate will be presented, and we will introduce a more intuitive perspective for classical symmetric solutions to be traveling waves.
