Speaker：Professor Hu Zejun

Abstract: I will talk about our recent researches on submanifolds of the homogeneous nearly Kaehler manifold S^3×S^3. In addition to results on the classification of special Lagrangian submanifolds, our main results are concentrated in the Hopf hypersurfaces, as well as hypersurfaces related to the shape operator and the almost contact structure.

Speaker Introduction:

Zejun Hu is a doctoral supervisor and a professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics of Zhengzhou University, a council member of the Chinese Mathematical Society, and an editorial board member of the Journal of Geometry and JP Journal of Geometry and Topology. He has finished four NSFC projects, and Outstanding Youth Science Foundation of Henan province. His research interest includes differential geometry, geometry and topology of submanifolds, conformal differential geometry, affine differential geometry, curvature and topology of Riemann manifolds, and differential equation on manifolds. He has obtained some systematic and deep work in the study of isoaffine hypersurfaces and central affine hypersurfaces.
